Psalm 91 – "Living with God" – Kerry Kaino
Discussion Questions:
1. Which words in verses 1-2 provide the perspective from which everything else in the psalm is rooted?
2. In what ways is this psalm a declaration of blessing upon someone who is about to embark on a potentially dangerous quest?
3. In what ways can we, in our daily lives at home, work, school, or recreation, experience the blessing of this psalm? What are points of danger in our lives today? Are we living with risk? Why or why not? Should we be?
4. How do you think we should understand this psalm given that Jesus was crucified on a cross … the apostle Paul was beaten, flogged, imprisoned and more (2 Corinthians 11:23ff) … and people all around us suffer?
