Discussion Questions:
1. When was a time you asked the question, “How long, Lord?”? Was, or has, that question been answered for you?
2. The psalmist refers to “my heart’ in verse 2, and then again in verse 5. What do these two verses indicate about the varying and contrasting feelings/thoughts going on inside of the psalmist? Do you think this psalm describes a progression or simultaneous inward experience?
3. What verses best describe what you are currently experiencing in your heart … verses 1-2, verses 3-4, or verses 4-6?
4. In what ways is “unfailing love” (verse 5) an answer to the question, “How long, Lord?” (verse 1)?
