1. In 5:10-15, Amos proclaims the words of the Lord in judgment of the people of Israel. What words of blessing might the Lord have rather said to the people of Israel? Read through these verses again, changing some of the words to reflect what the Lord might rather have said.
2. What is the blessing of “stone mansions” and “lush vineyards”, and how might these have been used as blessings?
3. What relationship(s) do you see between verse 14 and verse 15?
4. What are some ways that hating evil, loving good and maintaining justice might manifest themselves in our daily lives?
