1. Notice the action verbs in verses 2-4. How would you describe the focus of the action in each of these verses? While the focus of each of these verses is different, in what ways do they yet relate to each other? In particular, how do the actions referred to in verse 4 relate to the actions expressed in verses 2-3?
2. Why is verse 5 important as a foundation for the actions of verses 2-4?
3. Read all of Psalm 147. There is much in the psalm that identifies the actions of the LORD. What are those actions?
