1. When you look around in this world, what sights inspire you to give praise and thanks to God?
2. When you look at life in this world, what experiences stir you to want to argue that something is not right, to complain about what seems unfair, to question “why” … even toward God?
3. In Job chapters 3-37, Job questioned the justice of God’s actions in his life. What did Job hear in chapters 38 and 39 that left him with few words in 40:3-5 and also 42:1-6?
4. In what ways can we experience both the freedom to be honest with our feelings, even while questioning God, and at the same time the recognition that God alone is the Faithful Creator and Sovereign Lord?
