Ecclesiastes 5:8–17 – “Money is not Enough” – J. P. Kang
1. Reflect on your needs versus your wants. Which desires sometimes appear more urgent than actual needs? Ask God for help with wasteful thoughts and foolish desires.
2. Do you need help with money and your relationship to it (read verses 10–14)? Ask God for help, and listen for the answers!
3. If how we spend our money (and our time) reflects what is important to us, reflect on what your spending reveals about your priorities. Ask God for help with your priorities.
4. How can you “diversify the portfolio” of your relationships so that God can maximize his investment in you? (see Philippians 4:11–13) How can others help you stay focused on true, lasting riches?
