1. Read 11:9-12:8. From the perspective of a young person, is the message of Ecclesiastes in these verses encouraging or discouraging?
2. How do you feel after reading 12:1-7? What are we left with if there is nothing that we can depend upon? What other words than those found in 12:8 might you use to describe your feelings?
3. What significance do the words “Remember your Creator” in Ecclesiastes 12:1 have in the context of the surrounding verses?
4. What words of Jesus can you recall that are fitting to remember when you need something or someone to hold onto and depend upon?
