1. What action verbs in these verses describe how Paul, Silas and Timothy lived out their love for the people in the church of Thessalonica?
2. Paul was anxious for the well-being of the people of the young church in Thessalonica, from whom he was suddenly separated (Acts 17). Why did the church do so well, even in the absence of the leadership of Paul and his missionary team?
3. In what ways might the church have been encouraged because of what Paul expressed about them in these verses?
4. Who are people around us that we might overlook seeing the worth and value of their lives? What can help us to perceive them more clearly?
