1. When the teacher of the law asks Jesus which of the commandments is the most important, why do you think Jesus did not mention one of the Ten Commandments?
2. What do you think is the point in Deuteronomy 6:4-5 with the references to “heart”, “soul”, and “strength” … and in Mark 12 when Jesus adds a reference to “mind”?
3. When you love something/someone, do you love all those things in the same way? Explain. What is the kind of love to which Jesus is calling us in these verses?
