1. From the perspective of the audience to whom Jesus is speaking, when they hear the beginning of the parable in verse 10, what assumptions do you think His audience has?
2. As Jesus continues to tell the parable, what surprises do those in His audience encounter?
3. When the Pharisee looked in the “mirror,” what did he see? What did the tax collector see when he did the same?
