Isaiah 55:12–13 – “In and Out Living” – J. P. Kang
Discussion Questions:
1. What are the ways you express your faith in God privately or publicly (e.g., worship, prayer, study, service, evangelism, missions, etc.)? Which expressions, if any, would you like to make more public or private? How do these various forms of witness reflect God’s glory?
2. What are ways in which your faith has grown like a tree (slow and steady, verse 13)? When has it grown in dramatic leaps (verse 12b)? How have these seasons of growth impacted how you view and love your neighbor?
3. What is the legacy of faith you hope to leave for future generations that will be a memorial and an everlasting sign "that shall not be destroyed" (verse 13b)?
4. Who are some the people who are in your personal "cloud of witnesses" (Hebrews 11:1-12:1)? What have you learned from them about living for others? Give thanks to God for their witness!
