1. Why did people bring the paralyzed man to Jesus? Why was it an act of faith? What were they seeking? What would you be seeking?
2. We see the reaction of the teachers of the law in verse 3. What do you think might have been the reaction of those who brought the paralyzed man? How about the reaction of the paralyzed man himself?
3. What is your answer to the question … “Which is easier: to say ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? Why might one be easier than the other?
4. What word do you need Jesus to say to you? When Jesus gives it, how big is the reach of healing as you see it? Or beyond what you see? If beyond, why don’t you see it?
